End of EFL 2014. Thank you for all your comments! Good-bye!

Goodbye Kota Tinggi and Welcome Home!

Bidding farewell to Kota Tinggi and preparing to come back home....

Campfire Night

At the point of writing, we are taking our hot showers and preparing for the highlight of the camp- the campfire. Excuse us if you fail to see any posts, see you tomorrow in SINGAPORE!

Here we are back again with the campfire pictures!

From tents to chalets...

After 2 nights of camping in our tents pitched on raised-cemented platform, we are going to abandon them tonight! We are going to check-in to our chalets TONIGHT !
... as we happily checked out from our tents...
... and eagerly waited for our room keys...
Singing our way to our chalets!
Finally, we can appreciate the softbed, the water heater and the air-conditioner...and do not take them for granted.

Trolley Challenge

Left, right, left, right....

United and coordinated, we will overcome the challenges ahead!

Animal farm...

Fruits found here...

Coconuts

Dragonfruit
Cempedak

Building a raft...

Building a raft from scratch, with just bamboo poles, ropes and barrels. Applying density and floatation principles, coupled with our knot-tying skills, do you think our raft will float and carry us across?
See how stable our raft is!

Cultural Exchange

Our visit to the Malay Village in Kota Tinggi.

We were being served with piping hot curry puffs!

... and ice cold water!
Learning how to make Lempeyek ! If you are wondering what is Lempeyak, it is actually a snack with is fried with flour, peanuts and ikan bilis. Crunchy, savoury and delicious! The villagers even packed a bag of Lempeyek for each of us.

Basket Weaving using recycled newspapers!
Our finished products!
Kite making!

Don't we look like professional musicians? By the way, that's called Kompang! With the leadership of the village head, we performed a Malay piece along with the voices of the young village boys.
Our hand-made bookmarks!
